Comments, Discussions and Q&A

COMMENTS
Enable commentaries to a content and start discussions.

While creating or editing content you can set the „Comment settings“. Choose if users should be able to write comments to your content or just have the possibility to read your own comments. You can also switch off the comment function.

Start discussions to interesting themes and share your opinion to your members or to the public.

Ask questions to your network members or to the public audience and get useful information‘s. You can also ask your question anonymously.

Communication with E-Mail, Instant Messaging and Live Chat

E-MAIL MESSAGE
Users can be contacted via the e-mail function in the action box.

Your email address will not be disclosed as long as you do not contact the user directly with your e-mail address.

INSTANT MESSAGING
Communicate with your colleagues in "real time" and use the instant messaging system. The transmission of the message is a push service, so the message arrives directly at the receiver.

LIVE CHAT
Find other users quickly and chat with them one-on-one (by using e.g. dots or chat link). You can see if your colleagues are available (green), busy (red), away (yellow) or offline (grey).

CHAT OPTIONS
You can change your online status in the chat options (e.g. in case you do not want others to see, that you are online).

In case you are offline you will get a notification about your unanswered chats every 48 hours. This can be changed in the „Contact settings“ in your user settings.

CHAT HISTORY
Click on the symbol „Chathistory“ to see the full conversation with a specific person in an overview.

SAVE CONVERSATIONS
Click on the disk-symbol to save a conversation on your desktop.

SEND FILE OVER CHATMONITOR
Select a file from your desktop with the button "send file“ to share the document over the chat with your partner.

CHATROOMS
Users are able to create public, invitation only and password protected chatrooms.

Use plugins like file sharing and view your chat history.

Search for users and invite them in your chatroom.

The one-on-one chat can also be initiated directly from the group chatroom.

PERMISSION TO EDIT
As an owner of a content you can give the permission to selected persons that they are able to edit the content.

If you got the permission to edit a document you can also check out the uploaded files, edit them and check in again. Work together on a content with your network partners located all over the world.

Any modification of a document can be traced in the history.

Compare the different versions and check the changes which have been made.

Invite your network partners to your venue. Use the user or profile search to find these people on LeVenues and add them to the Invitation basket or invite them by entering their e-mail address or upload a csv file full of addresses.

This inviting function can also be helpfull to search for experts/people with certain requirements (e.g. with a special expertise) but not yet associated with you.

Enter an additional message that will be sent along with the invitation.
